Cambridge Middle School
Cambridge Middle School is one of only seven Middle Schools in New Zealand. Middle Schooling in Cambridge educates students in Years 7 – 10. It currently has 466 students and is a decile 8 school. 24-7 YouthWork started in the school in 2008. Currently there are three Youth Workers from Raleigh Christian Centre and Bridges Church in the school

I've been a 24-7 Youth Worker since the beginning of 2008.
What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
Being able to hang out with a huge range of young people, battling against them in coin rugby or hackey sack, and being able to learn heaps about other people's favourite hobbies. Makes Trivial Pursuits way easier.
What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
I have a passion for working with youth, and had seen the great work other 24-7 Youth Workers were doing - and I really wanted to be a part of it!
Try and make the world a bit better each day, and laugh a lot.

well i just love helping out the communitiy and i think actions speak louder than words, and going into schools to hang out and befriend and encourage and support kids as they go through some of the toughest years in there life is a sweet way to get involved in the community
What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?

Favourite Movie?
admitedly movies just cant compare to the action of my everyday life but anything with will smith or leonardo dicaprio, imagine them put together and I don’t mean the same movie but into one body. What a rugby player that would make, Will would be able to step everyone and leonardo could trick the other team in to thinking he was on there side.

I started in Febuary 2009.
What do you love about being a 24-7 Youth Worker?
I love the fact that at the age of 21 I can go back to school and still get smooked at four square. I also love getting along side youth and having fun
What was your reason for getting into 24-7 Youth Work?
I love hanging out and helping young people and this is the perfect way to get time of work to do it 
What would be your greatest piece of advice to young people?
If you take every opportunity you see you will never have to think “if only…”
