We sincerely believe we are not the answer just part of a solution locally. We also believe that increasing connectivity within a local communities and regions is an outcome in itself.
We are forging practical links at local levels and also as a network regionally, nationally and internationally. ![]()
Praxis has proved to be a strategic training provider. We are currently setting up an internship year with Praxis.
Canterbury Youth Services. CYS provides support for managers, training of volunteer teams, networking, large youth events and camps for young people

Te Ora Hou provides many great events and groups that have a Maori and Pacific Island basis. They have youth workers that join with our team at Burnside and fill out the range of services and connections we can provide.

Christchurch City Council. In Christchurch we enjoy a strong relationship with the council and particularly its local community boards, especially the community development and recreation advisors. The networks they develop keep us well connected at a local level.
Selwyn District Council. We are working closely with the Selwyn district council initiatives surrounding youth needs in the district. And benefit greatly from the networking they foster.
NEXUS. Nexus is an International Christian network of high based schools youth work. As a network we are hoping to forge links so that we our “long haul” youthworkers can spend some time oversea’s helping out and also being refreshed and sharpened for the long haul.
We are interested in developing strong links with employers and training providers that are sympathetic to the schedule.
